Our Competitive Teams are designed for dedicated dancers who want to get the most out of competitive dance. We have various levels/ competitive programs available.
AUDITIONS:
Auditions for our 2023-2024 (Season 9) Competitive Team will be taking place in TWO PARTS.
PART ONE:
JUNE 21 - 5:00 to 6:30 (Ages 3-6)
JUNE 22 - 5:00 to 8:30 (Ages 7-11)
JUNE 23 - 5:00 to 8:30 (Ages 12+)
** Please have your dancer attend the age group in which they currently are at the time of the audition **
The audition process will include the following:
Warm up & Physical testing
Technique & Across the floor
Lyrical/Jazz combo
Hip-Hop combo
PART TWO:
Competitive Team Intensive Training Camp
July 17 - 20
Ages 3 to 5 — $35.00+hst
Ages 7 to 11 — $96.00+hst
Ages 12+ — $96.00+hst
Dancers who make it through part one will be asked to attend our COMPETITIVE INTENSIVE TRAINING CAMP. During this time our instructors and choreographers will work with the dancers to determine team placements and solo/duet/trio offers.
Sparkle Babies
For dancers between the ages of 3-5 years.
This team is an introduction for younger dancers to our competitive level program. Dancers will compete 1 group dance as well as production.
Required:
30 Minutes of Competitive Training
30 Minutes Group Dance Rehearsal
1 Recreational Class
$65 +hst (plus one recreational class) /month
Mini Competitive Team
This team is for dancers between the ages of 5 – 8 years.
These Dancers are required to compete 3 group dances in the disciplines of Jazz, Hip-Hop and Tap. This team will train exclusively with competitive teachers in competitive only training classes for technique, jazz, tap and hiphop. Dancers are also required to take one specialized ballet class.
Dancers have the option to apply for Solos, Duets, and Trios.

4-5 Training Hours per Week
$135 +hst (plus required ballet class) /month
Competitive Team
This team is for dancers ages 8 + up.
Dancers are required to compete 3 group dances in the disciplines of Jazz, Hip-Hop and Lyrical. This team will train exclusively with competitive teachers in competitive only training classes. This team will have the following classes each week: Stretch & Stregnthen, Technique classes (Jazz, Lyrical, Hiphop), and specialized Ballet. Dancers have the option to apply for Solos, Duets, and Trios, and Select Groups.

Select Dances
(Select Hip-Hop, Select Jazz, Select Lyrical, Select Acro & Select Ballet)
These teams are catered for dancers who are looking to compete in one specific dance style. We will be offering select teams for HIP-HOP, JAZZ, LYRICAL, ACRO & BALLET. Dancers who are on these teams will learn one competitive dance in the specific style, and will be required to take a corresponding technique class. These dancers will compete in 5 competitions, and can be on as many select teams as they wish.
** Not eligible for Solo’s Duets and Trios **
New this year - dancers who make our competitive team can also be on select for an extra dance in their favourite style.
