Cassiah has been a successful performer/dancer since the age of 2, competing internationally in Beauty Pageants and Talent Shows across the country. She has won such titles as Little Miss Canada, Miss Cover Girl, Miss Shinning Star, and International Royalty. At the age of 13, Cassiah underwent a teaching apprenticeship training program and began teaching dance. She has excelled as a competitive dancer, choreographer and teacher, with her strengths highlighted in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Hip-Hop. Cassiah has also worked with National and Provincial Gymnasts choreographing floor routines, beam routines, and creating poise in their overall presentations. She is a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance, and has started adjudicating dance and talent competitions across Canada.

Cassiah has obtained her BA Honors in Drama & Communications, Media and Film, as well as her Bachelor of Education teaching diploma. Cassiah has graduated with a gold seal from the ADAPT syllabus teachers training program, where she completed  an extensive 3 years of training, under the direction of Brian and Faye Foley in the styles of Tap and Jazz. She also has a very extensive Acro background and has been named a Master Instructor/ Examiner for the Acrobatique AcroDance Syllabus.

Cassiah has had the privilege of being a touring faculty member with Dance Attack Workshops for many years, which has given her the opportunity to teach and work with many talented dancers such as; tWitch, Stacey Tookey, Tara Jean Popowich, Willdabest, Jordan Clark and Denise Wall. She has also been very honored to dance and choreograph for multiple special events, short films, fashion shows, and musicals like Cabaret, Legally Blonde, West Side Story, and most recently the very successful ‘Joseph and the Amazing technicolor Dreamcoat’.

Cassiah has an extensive background in all areas of the performing arts, and over 20 years of experience. She is known for her knowledge of dance, and has won countless awards for her unique and creative choreography. Her passion for the performing arts is most evident through her teaching techniques, energetic classes, and positive influence on dancers.

Rachel Fleury

Dance Instructor & Competitive Coach

Rachel has been dancing since the age of 3, falling in love with the art very quickly. She has been trained by many dance instructors from all over the country, making her background in dance widely ranged. She has been a very successful competitive dancer for 8 years and has trained intensively in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemp/ Lyrical, and Hiphop.

Rachel has won many awards over the years for her love and passion for dance, and is currently the Fever International Improv 1st place champion.

Rachel has worked for Dance Attack Workshops for many years, giving her the opportunity to attend classes from top artists such as Tara – Jean Popowich, Twitch, Boneless, Jay T Schramek and many more. She has performed in two musicals ‘West Side Story’ and ‘Night of a Thousand Stars’ and was also the head choreographer for her school play in 2017.

Rachel loves teaching and sharing her passion for dance with other students, as well as still continuing to learn herself. She is excited to be part of the Cassiah’s Dance Company faculty, and hope’s she can inspire others to love the art of dance as much as she does.

Avery Brophy

Dance Instructor & Competitive Coach

Avery has been dancing since the age of 2, when she took her first dance class, and fell in love with Dance. Over the years, she has studied many dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Heels, Musical Theatre and Partnering. Avery was a competitive dancer for a number of years, and has had the opportunity to learn from several outstanding teachers during that time, including Shannon Mathers, Brian Freedman, Ian Eastwood, Blake McGrath, Tara Jean Popowich and Etc.

Avery is a sought-after teacher and choreographer, winning numerous awards for her work. Along with choreographing competitive group dances, solos and duets, she has also choreographed for UCC cheer team, the UCC musical and the Ridge Players Production of Beauty and the Beast. In June of 2018 Avery received her diploma for Occupational and Physiotherapy Assistant, and we wish her luck as she completes her post grad work in Autism and Behavioural Science this year. Avery looks forward to furthering her teaching experience. She is thrilled to to be a faculty member at Cassiah’s Dance Company and looks forward to sharing the love of dance while helping each student grow as a dancer and a person

Delaney Mastronardi

Dance Instructor & Competitive Coach

Delaney began to develop her love for dance since the young age of 3. She has been trained in the disciplines of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hiphop, and Musical Theatre. She has successfully completed multiple exams in the styles of Jazz, Tap, as well as Ballet under the Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet with the CCA (Cecchetti Council of America).  

Delaney was a part of a Performing Arts Company for 2 years before beginning her competitive dance journey, where she travelled and performed around the county. At the age of 10, Delaney was invited to perform in the 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay amongst many other talented performers. She has performed in two musicals, ‘Grease’ and ‘Anything Goes’ in which she was able to deepen her knowledge in theatre and acting. This fall will be Delaney’s third year participating on her high school dance team where she performs and choreographs for the annual dance showcase ‘Dance-o-logy’.   

Over the years, Delaney has received multiple dance scholarships and awards. She has won  the Dance Academy award, Most Valuable Dancer award, and has been recognized for her dedication to the art of dance three times. She also received an SDF Dance Tour scholarship for her overall solo placement at the LUV 2 DANCE National Competition in Florida. 

Recently Delaney had the privilege of working for LUV 2 DANCE competition & LUV 2 DANCE Canadian Nationals. Through this opportunity, she was able to learn about the other side of the competitive dance world while working as a backstage manager. Delaney is looking forward to working with LUV 2 DANCE this upcoming season alongside many experienced individuals, such as adjudicators and directors. 

Delaney has maintained a successful academic life all while being fully committed to her dance career. She has made it on the Principal’s Honour Roll list consecutively, achieving a high 90s average throughout both her years of high school. She is a member of the IB Programme and will be fulfilling the position of the Minister of Arts on her school’s student council this upcoming year. 

Through dance, Delaney has learned the importance of determination and strength, as well as how to be a humble leader. She has gained valuable life lessons that she hopes to pass on to all of her students. With every class that she teaches, Delaney hopes that students will go home with a feeling of growth in some type of way. She is excited to be a part of the Cassiah’s Dance Company faculty and hopes to leave others feeling as inspired as she has throughout her years of dance.

Candace Massad

Candace has a strong passion for health and fitness, taking care of the body in which we live is something she loves teaching others. She is continually learning and is excited to bring her skills to Cassiah's Dance Company.

Teaching others how to care for themselves down to the tiniest muscle is so important to her, fitness is an integral part of becoming a strong dancer.

As a fun, caring and energetic instructor she finds her passion lies with coaching children, and teens to build confidence and prevent injury in sports.

Candace has trained local hockey teams, instructed both adults and children fitness in studio and online. She is beyond thrilled to work with competive dancers.

Angela Dutot

Tumbling Instructor

Angela began her journey into the world of gymnastics at the age of 7 here in Leamington Ontario, where she competed both recreationally and competitively. She quickly discovered a passion for the sport of gymnastics, tumbling, and dance that has lasted well into her adult years.

Angela has been involved with coaching Gymnastics since 2007, working alongside athletes from the age of 18 months (Parent and Tot classes) all the way up to 18 years (High school aged athletes), and about every age in between. During these years, Angela has coached recreational classes, high-school gymnastics teams to OFSAA Gold, and pre-provincial and provincial-level competitors to many successful competition finishes. She has supported many gymnasts to perform and compete at various showcases, demonstrations, and competitions all across Ontario. Angela holds her Level 2 Qualification from the NCCP, National Coach Certification Program, both in Multi-Sports and specifically in Gymnastics and Trampoline. She has also successfully completed several coaching workshops and courses including Making Ethical Decisions, Designing a Basic Sport Program, and completing both the Technical and Practical components of the NCCP Level 2 Gymnastics Course.

Angela focuses on teaching gymnastics and tumbling skills in a fun and progressive way. She believes in allowing her students to discover their talents and capabilities by encouraging a strong work ethic and effort while having fun during classes. Angela graduated with honors from the University of Windsor with her Bachelor of Arts in English: Language and Literature, and her Bachelor of Education in 2009. Since 2009, Angela has worked for the WECDSB, most recently as a Kindergarten teacher here in Leamington. Angela strives to create a fun, energetic, and challenging learning environment for the learners across all walks of her career: students, gymnasts, and dancers alike.

Sarah Coulter

Occasional Dance Instructor

Sarah Coulter is a trained dancer and experienced teacher. She has been trained primarily in Hip Hop, but has been educated in many dance forms such as ballet, jazz, lyrical and break dancing.

Sarah has been dancing for over 10 years both recreationally and competitively.  She is currently working on her undergrad degree in London and will be  starting teachers college next year.  While in school Sarah continues to educate her self in dance by taking a number of workshops and classes as well as teaching at the YMCA.

Introduced to dance while at a small studio in Blenheim, Sarah learned motivation, determination and found a love of dance through her years of competition and teaching. She expanded her dance knowledge by attending workshops like Nuvo, and the Pulse and Dance Attack, taking classes from instructors such as Twitch, Miles Faber, Alex Crenian, Joshua Allen, Mia Michaels and Travis Wall.

Sarah wishes only to continue teaching and sharing her love for expression through dance as she dances with Cassiah’s Dance Company.

Hannah James

Occasional Dance Instructor

Hannah discovered her love for dance at the young age of 3. She trained primarily in Ballet, and soon began learning more styles including Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Contemporary. She has extended her dance training by attending workshops with instructors such as Miles Faber, Alex Crenian, Bree Wesylenko, and Hayley Paone. Along with dance training, Hannah learned about performance through drama classes.

In her years dancing competitively, Hannah was honoured to receive several awards for her performances in solos, duets, and groups. Among these she was chosen to receive a signature award for demonstrating her passion for dance in her solo and duet performances, and a scholarship for her Pointe choreography. Hannah was also recognized for showing teamwork and being a leader as a senior student on the competitive team.

Hannah began her teaching career at the age of 16 as an assistant instructor at the studio, and a dance instructor for a local daycare program. While attending college in Kitchener, she taught Ballet and Jazz classes. Hannah enjoys working with enthusiastic dancers of all ages and abilities. She is looking forward to joining Cassiah’s Dance Company and helping each student as they grow and learn.

Stephanie Santos

Musical Theatre Instructor

Stephanie has had a flair for the dramatic arts from an early age. Other than the recreational youth tap classes, figure skating was her passion for the majority of her youth and teen years. That is, until she discovered Music Theatre. She got her start with her dear friend Terry Ware in dinner theatre at Pelee Days Inn and Sun Parlour Players, soon followed up by Windsor Light Music Theatre. After receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Windsor, she made the move to Toronto where she continued training and attended Canada's National Voice Intensive at UBC. Toronto gave her many opportunities including a run in Tony & Tina's Wedding at Second City.

Upon moving back home, Stephanie took over the role of Manager of Migration Hall and began her career in Real Estate. Over the year, she has had the opportunity to participate in countless musicals and plays in Windsor-Essex County, including Velma Kelly (Chicago), Eva Peron (Evita), Jennyanydots (Cats) with Theatre Alive; Hero (Much Ado About Nothing), Courtney (The Best Man), Victoria (The View from Here), Hermia (A Midsummer Night's Dream) with KORDA Artistic Productions; Lady Thiang (The King and I) and Fairy Godmother (Cinderella) with Windsor Light Music Theatre; Diana (Next to Normal) with Cardinal Music Productions; Lily (The Secret Garden), Lucy Harris (Jekyll & Hyde), Narrator (Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Jo March (Little Women the Musical), Doralee Rhodes (9 to 5 the Musical), Nancy (Oliver), Mayzie la Bird (Seussical the Musical), Adelaide (Guys & Dolls) with Migration Hall Productions. In addition, she produced/directed/choreographed for a 6 year run of Broads on Broadway, Back to Broadway and Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney) in Concert with Music Express, The Sound of Music (Director) and most recently has directed for Little Tomato Children's Theatre: 'Disney's The Little Mermaid,' 'Alice in Wonderland,' and 'Frozen Jr.' and began teaching Musical Theatre at Cassiah's Dance Company.

Stephanie is happily married to Nelson Santos for going on 19years and has 3 beautiful children, Jaxson, Madelyn and Emme.

Nathan Pryor

Karate Instructor

Sensei Nathan has been studying Isshinryu Karate for over 30 years. He trained and studied at Windsor Essex Martial Arts, and at the age of 16 he was awarded his first degree Black belt. His Sensei and Father Mr Gary Pryor, is one of the biggest reasons Nathan has decided to continue teaching Karate. His father has been a huge inspiration to him, and he has learned numerous life lessons through the discipline of Karate. He has decided to pay tribute to his dad and name his Karate club “Otosan” meaning Father.

Nathan is very excited to be part of the Cassiah’s Dance Company faculty, and even more excited to bring the Martial Art of Isshinryu to the Leamington facility. He hopes that he can inspire a love for Karate to his students, the same way that his father was able to inspire him.
